As a life-long math nerd, personal finance has always been a passion of mine.  As a Mortgage Planner, I realized that I could make a major impact on people's overall financial wellness by guiding them through the mortgage process.  Often, a person's home and mortgage are simultaneously their biggest asset and their biggest debt, so it's vitally important it's structured properly with their overall financial goals in mind.

I got my Finance degree from Florida State University, where I was also fortunate enough to meet my wife.  After graduating, I began my career in personal banking, then into commercial real estate, and then into residential mortgage lending.  I started mortgage banking in 2009 at a time when a lot of people were getting out of the industry due to much-needed regulations, so I luckily was never part of the crazy lending world that helped cause the housing crash in 2008.  I have made it a goal to do my part in making sure people get the best financial advice on a home that would fit with their overall financial plan.  In an industry filled with sales people I have always wanted to take a different, more consultative, approach.

I have now been fortunate enough to help over 2,000 families who appreciated that planning approach to mortgage lending and have allowed me to consistently be one of the top 1% of all mortgage professionals in the country.  My goal is to continue that while doing my part to spread financial literacy, and to help people gain the financial independence they desire.
